Dear beloved friends of CGBC,

Greetings from Hong Kong! The Chinese New Year brought tragedy to many families in Beijing due to an awful accident. The Asian countries have been shadowed by the bloodshed of slaughtering chickens. The threat of a bird flu epidemic is as threatening as SARS was in 2003. I have changed my schedule due to a prolong sickness since December. .

"O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself; it is not in a man that walks to direct his steps." ~Jer.10: 23 It has been a delightful experience for me to wait for God to clear the path and to restore my health. I am overwhelmed by the love of my co-workers. We also thank God for His wonderful provision, as we are working towards setting up a base in Hong Kong. We are going to maximize the potential of online broadcast and strengthen our partnership with churches' mission teams and field workers.

As you go on missions with Him, are you willing to do new things, break old paradigms, and work in every possible way with your brothers and sisters in the body of Christ to get the gospel out today to those who have never worshipped Him? As we move onto our 25th year of missions with God, we are reminded that God has no limit on the adventures He wants us to experience with Him. God's glory should be reflected in our delight in serving Him. Our desire is to help others understand God's heart and know His mission, the total redemptive purpose of God. The ultimate goal of CGBC is to fulfill God's purpose for His glory.

• I hope to return to New York before summer. I shall visit our Vancouver prayer group on the way. Please pray for the work in Hong Kong.

• Remember those preparing for this year's Olympic games outreach in Athens. Check Hellenic Ministries website, www.operationgideons.org for the prayer request details. Pray for those who will compete as well as those who watch the games. Consider this event as a mission opportunity.

• !It is our desire to visit CGBC 's long time ministry partner Charles Chan in Quito, Ecuador. He has been with HCJB for 22 years, and our partnership has extended Chinese gospel broadcast to a much larger audience in Central and South America.

Please join us in praising Him for the Almighty is mindful of our limitations and is glad to cheer the fainting heart and steer the faltering footstep. Indeed, only God can direct our paths!
