Chinese People are scattered all over the globe.
"Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to
send out workers into his harvest field." ~Luke 10:2
In the 50’s, a spirit of revival revitalized the Christian
college campus' in North America and led to a strong student
movement. Chinese students were drawn to Christ. Many Chinese
Bible Study groups gradually became Chinese churches with
well-educated professionals as leaders.
At the same time, Chinatowns began to mushroom in major cities
around the world with thousands and thousands of Chinese people
worshipping idols and ignorant about the Christian faith.
"I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other
sheep... I must bring them also." ~John 10:15-16
In 1979, at the first Chinese Christian Conference in Holland,
we responded to God's call to record personal testimonies
with Gospel messages. Many Christians have used these in visitation
to homes, restaurants, and garment factories.
"Go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey." ~Matthew

In 1989, drastic political changes around the world set a
new stage for short-term mission.

In the 90's thousands of Chinese scholars were allowed to
remain outside China and also the economic policy of China
opened up an opportunity for short-term mission. |
